Stayed in a corner room (900) which meant views both up and down the strip. Excellent service. Room nice although a few surprising malfunctions (one curtain that refused to open and a broken door stopper). Spa, although small, is super luxury with very attentive staff. The biggest downside if you are a gambler is that you cant get any comps from your play as there is no linked casino. Also annoying that you have to use two separate lifts to get to or from your room.
My wife and I stayed here for the first time in mid June 2012. The hotel is elegant, quiet and centrally located. The real difference is the staff. I've travelled all over the world and I have never seen such a consistently pleasant, respectful and eager to please staff. Stay here. You won't be disappointed.
Treated like a king. Understated professional service. Anticipated every need. Suites to die for with lavish amenities. I enjoyed staying in this highly civilized oasis just a brief walk from the chaos of Aria and Cosmopolitan. I didn't miss the crowds in the lobby (think Bellagio) at all. By the way, the 23rd floor lobby is to die for. Screw Encore, this place is tops!
Top notch. Look no further!
Quite possibly the best in the world. This hotel is just stunning.
Everything about this hotel just works; impeccable service, highly professional yet unpretentious employees and an unmatched room quality. A unique oasis of calm, it's the perfect choice when you're looking for quiet at end of your Vegas day. Possibly the only place on the strip that's had me asking myself "do I really want to go out?"
Impeccable hotel. If you are staying on business, I highly recommend the Mandarin. If you are looking for pleasure, choose the Wynn, but nonetheless this is an unforgettable five-star experience!

An absolutely amazing hotel experience! Stay as long as possible. The Mandarin is incredible.
This is a TRUE five star experience.
What can be said? It's the Mandarin Oriental. Mandarin Oriental is a well known luxury brand hotel along the lines of Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton. But does Mandarin fit in Vegas?
Not only does Mandarin Oriental fit in Vegas, it gives the discriminating, service-oriented traveler a new alternative.
The rooms are small for the price, but you didn't go to MO for the rooms. You came for the service. And the service is immediate and wonderful. Everyone is friendly and solves problems.
The hotel is quiet and relaxing and provides for a much needed auditory break coming back from the noises and hustle of the strip.
An experience everyone should splurge for once. I can almost guarantee it won't be your last time. While not the biggest rooms, they are supremely comfortable and the service is out of this world. Still vegas' best kept secret.
Mandarin Oriental Bar Review - I have to say that the bar is very nice and modern and consists of a half lounge and half bar. I showed up around midnight on Valentines Day Eve, and there were probably twenty people there, most were lounging on couches that face the south side of the Strip so I went to the other side and sat alone since my friends wanted to keep gambling at Aria. The drinks are proven to be as strong a you would hope, and I say that because they bring the drink on the rocks and your mix in a cute little carafe. I was also impressed that they provided a nice little nibble or two for free while you enjoy your cocktail. Last two things, I had to use the bathrooms and I must say these are like high roller bathrooms so I highly recommend this place. Number two, of course the view, what can I say other than fantastic.
The service here really is what they promise - personal and intense. That's easier to do with a comparatively smaller hotel. Pricey but also something special. Beware valet fees, uncommon on The Strip.
