Hi All,
I'm going to Vegas next week for the opening of Encore. Will be arriving on December 20th and leaving on the 26th. Would love to meet up with some fellow Vegas aficionados for drinks and great like minded conversation. All hail Encore!

MGM/MIRAGE SOLD Treaure Island to Phil Ruffin... I wonder if they will sell anymore?
MGM to sell Treasure Island

According to Reuters, MGM announced today that they are selling Treasure Island to Phil Ruffin for $775M. ($500M cash and @275M secured notes)
ELAD Seeks to Delay Loan Payments

Elad is seeking to delay payments on a loan taken for the purchase of the New Frontier property.
Since Elad purchased The New Frontier at teh height of the property boom for $1.25B, and this will be their 2nd postponement if granted.
I guess we now know what Phil Ruffin is doing with his windfall from the sale of The New Frontier.
