This is long overdue. My gambling to F&B spending ratio is fairly close, moreover, I've easily spent just as much on clothes and jewelry in Vegas hotels over the years simply because the variety Vegas provides. Unless you live in NY or California, you can't find the quality brands in typical suburbia America, so I look forward to splurging once I arrive in town, but you're right, you receive no kickback from that type of spending. My fondest gambling memory was at the low level Maxim about 15 years ago, I got on my hottest streak of my life, laid it heavy and the luck wouldn't stop, they treated me like a king there, because it was gambling money. But in contrast at the high level Wynn, last year I made the largest jewerly purchase in my life for my wife at Graff at Wynn and it was just another purchase to the hotel, no kickback. Large purchases should count for something on the "red card" at Wynn, money regardless where its spent is still money and I, like many on this board, favor the nicer places whether we're high rollers or not.

Actually, my understanding is that Wynn does consider non-casino spending in some of their internet marketing offers; e.g. reduced room rates, room+resort credit offers, etc. However, I like the LVS idea of incorporating it into Club Grazie program, so that you can calculate for yourself how much your non-casino spending will contribute to future comps.
