ChuckMonster at VegasTripping.com is running a story about Harrah's plans for its Strip properties.
According to this story, Bally's, the IP and Harrah's all get imploded while the Flamingo gets a major overhaul.
Anyway, it's an interesting read, even if based on at least some speculation. You never know - it could happen!

Speaking of Harrah's, I continue to be impressed by its marketing programs. I got a letter from Lich Tran. The name sounds familiar, but I don't know him.
He said he has left Mandalay Bay and is a Player Development Executive at Harrah's Entertainment where he will be my host at any/all of HET's Las Vegas properties. Enclosed was a chart with every event at every HET property through November. He encouraged me to call him, and he will give me the same comps "you are accustom (sic) to receiving."
What a great concept. In one glance, I can look over all events and tournaments at all properties and deal with one guy. Problem is, I don't much care for HET properties.
I would love to see these 3 places come down, and get replaced. But, seeing is believing! :) Time will tell. Harrahs already has a TON of debt. Taking all 3 of these down, and replacing them would cost BILLIONS.
Detroit1051, It's been close to a year. Did you hear about the expansion at Caesars. I hope M.Bay is treating you well. My offer still stands ... at any LV HET properties.
I hope to hear from you. LT.//
Hi Lich Tran. I can run, but I can't hide. LOL.
Actually, I haven't been to Vegas since last November and may not get back until next year. I'll keep in touch.
